I'm not even going to try to think through that what if, because I'm too busy imagining a woman Snape. It's just waaaay too weird :? - thanks for inspiring my poor messed up mind KyKid :roll:

It's interesting how such a small thing could have changed the outcome of Harry's life. If James had been the one upstairs and Lily downstairs, Harry could have grown up someplace completely different and been different as a result.

Oh dear god, I can see the Snape/Lily fanfic potential if Voldemort had just knocked Lily out but James had sacrificed himself to save Harry. (And I don't even actively ship that pairing!)
