Podcast Question of the Week

This week's question centers on a slight dispute between the hosts on the show. We find in the latest Chapter (19) that Snape is angry beyond words for a lot of different reasons in the Shrieking Shack.

Our central question for all of you this week is - what is Snape most motivated by in the Shack with Sirius, Remus, and the memory of James? Is it his need for revenge from school days? His love and loss of Lily? His need to prove himself right to Dumbledore? What is the biggest motivator of this rather complex character?

Write your thoughts below and some of those comments will be read on the next episode of Alohomora!

Just days ago hosts Kat, Caleb, Laura and myself attended MISTI-Con - a Harry Potter fan convention in Laconia, New Hampshire, and had our very first live show with an audience! It was awesome to meet some of you guys there.

We also announced while there that Alohomora! will be attending BOTH LeakyCons at Portland and London! We'll be doing live shows just like the one you can listen to right here.

Podcast Question of the Week

We don't know much about James Potter, other than the facts that he looks a lot like Harry and bullied Snape when they went to school - pretty viscously actually.

But we know that his animagus form was a stag, and we know that a person's animagus form says a ton about the person - (it is more or less a person's 'spirit animal') - so what qualities can we assume about James given the fact that he was a stag?

Let us know in the comments, and then some of those comments will be read on the next episode of Alohomora!
