'The Burrow' - the first things that surprised me in this chapter is that the Dursleys didn't wake up when the bars where pulled out of the window (which should have made quite some noise), but only after they heard Hedwig's screech. I'm sure I would have woken up right after the bars made the noise as I'm sure I've would been already accustomed to Hedwig's noise-making.

Second thing, I've always wondered why the Weasleys called their home 'The Burrow'. Because it simply look like one, or because their surname is 'Weasley'?

Next thing I noticed is what a stupid lie they came up with explaining how Harry arrived. Fred or George only said that they would simply say 'Mum, look who turned up in the night?'. I mean, please, they couldn't think of anything better than that? How was Harry suppossed to come to the Burrow if he didn't even know where it was? And why in the middle of the night?

Next thing that intrigued me are the wizarding comics. I really want to know more about them, what they're about and how they deviate from the Muggle ones. Do wizards have similar heroes like Muggles, Spiderman, Batman etc.?

'At Flourish and Blotts' - They get their lists of books and where and when to turn up to go to Hogwarts. I've always been asking myself, do they still get tickets like every first year? Does every first year get a ticket or is it just the Muggle-borns?

Last thing I wondered about was why it was Hermione in the movie who repaired Harry's glasses and not Mr.Weasley like in the books. I mean, it was underage magic, wasn't it? So it was illegal. Just something they didn't consider making the movies?

And another thing concerning magic - why didn't Mr.Weasely use magic against Malfoy but simply jumped at him trying to punch him in Flourish and Blotts?

I like that the little drawings are back! Are those part of the UK or US version? I am only used to the Dutch and UK adult version and there weren't any in there. I really like them and it's lovely to see what the chapters are about, only by looking at those pictures!

I was wondering about Mrs weasley clock. Do you realy think it is good to have such a clock? I think if I had such a clock I would always be afraid to look at it because I would be afraid that it would show something bad. And as a kid do you want your mother to know always where you are?

There's something else I discovered about the clock; in the book it says that there are things like 'mortal peril', 'prison' and 'work' and stuff there, but I read on the Harry Potter Pedia that in the movie CoS there is 'dentist' written on clock. My thoughts: why the hell is it on the clock and how do wizards like the Weasleys even know what dentists are? Kinda mysterious ...
