A very interesting set of connections and comparisons, and thank you for the time you took to write all that down for us!

One other possible connection that I was pondering as I finished reading the quibble, was how in the Philosophers Stone Harry is not at Hogwarts but wants to go there, and in Deathly Hallows he is also not at Hogwarts but wants to go there (for different reasons, obviously), and each time there is a bit of a struggle to get there - first with the Dursleys, and then with the Death Eaters.

This essay highlights some of the key links between PS and DH. However, I'd just like to clarify a point regarding the first connection you drew. In DH, Harry survives the Killing Curse again not because he is the 7th Horcrux, but because Voldemort regenerated his body using Harry's blood. This means that Harry could not be killed while Voldemort was still alive, with Harry's blood in his veins. Dumbledore explains this to Harry in the 'Kings Cross' chapter.

When I read Deathly Hallows and came across all the connections to the all the other books I couldn't help but smile each time. It felt like little winks to readers who would poured over details in each book. Seeing how well each book connected to each other just proved to me that the Harry Potter series will stand the test of time. I just felt in awe of all the detail and how very complete it made the whole story feel. Jo Rocks!! =)

This was a great summary of all the "connections" between the beginning and the end of the series. I found myself pointing out a lot as I reread the first couple of chapters.

I love this essay! I always think stuff like this in my head but I don't have the correct words to put them into an essay like this. I love all the info you put into this and the references. Awesome!
