Many sports you can hear the commentary if you are there, you certainly can at football games where I live. Also, their voices are possibly louder with magic to transmit their voice. I also think it is to help us understand what is happening during the match with a touch of comedy from Lee Jordan.

It doesn't seem very smart to wear a watch, especially a gold one, but I just think they didn't really think about it hard enough. They were used to wearing it, so they probably just put in on that morning when they woke up, without fully thinking it through. Especially since when most people wake up, they are half awake, half asleep.

About the Lee Jordan question, I think she expected biased commentary, but was trying to control it. You must remember, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff aren't too fond of Slytherin either, they cheer when Gryffindor wins the house cup over Slytherin. Also, it doesn't seem too fair to say to a kid, your team is playing, so you aren't allowed to commentate. Especially considering each match, that's 50% of the school.
