Harry Potter vs. Warriors: A Comparison by Hippogriff
Rated: All Ages [Reviews - 3]
Summary: A look at how the Warriors series by Erin Hunter is similar to and different from our beloved Harry Potter series.

I've noticed some of the connections too! Don't forget about how both series contain prophecies that a child/kits will be born who will eventually defeat a great evil- Harry defeated Voldemort, while the Three lead the Clans to defeat the Dark Forest. Also, in the ways that Firestar is like Harry, I see a lot of Ron in Graystripe. I think that if we had to connect StarClan to anything, it would be Dumbledore. Both the Clans and the students look up to them for advice and guidance, and ultimately they do everything they can to fight against the coming evil, but by the end they are powerless against it. (i.e., Dumbledore is dead, and StarClan has to rely on the living cats to fight)
I really liked it ^_^
Author's Response: oh yes! I forgot to include direct character references! I was planning to but it slipped my mind when I got caught up in my writing :P I didn't think of the Dumbledore/StarClan one though. Good thinking! And thanks for reading and commenting!
We've talked a lot about where the curse of unicorn blood comes from, but just what exactly is the curse?! That's what this Quibble seeks to find out!
I'm back with more of my thoughts and questions that I had while re-reading the Harry Potter books. This time from Chapters 1 & 2 of Chamber of Secrets.
I pair up characters with magical creatures that are like them.
In which I try to explain my views on prejudice in the Wizarding world, and connect it to certain areas of the muggle world as well. The category is Fantastic Beats and Where to...
This is an essay I wrote for school comparing and contrasting the lives of Harry and Voldemort. It starts with their childhoods and continues until the end of the books.
