Jamesa “Meka” Larimer, more affectionately known as ‘VoldeMeka’, has been involved in the Dark Arts since 2003. Joining the Houston Harry Potter Meetup in 2005, she became Head of Slytherin House in 2006 and recently stepped up as Head Mistress of the group. Moonlighting as a Dementor in one of Texas’ finest Muggle prisons, she finds opportunities to hone her Death Eater skills. With a background in theater and music, she is currently working to completing her B.S. in Psychology. When not plotting evil deeds, this hardcore Slytherin, born the year of the snake, can usually be found with a good book or a device in hand for reading fan fiction. She is a ravenous DM/HG shipper. Her hobbies include general nerdiness in other fandoms, cosplaying, traveling, driving Muggle racecars, and attending Muggle heavy metal concerts, under her invisibility cloak, of course! Meka's favorite thing in the world is attending Harry Potter con's. She is about to attend her 8th con, where she can usually be found at the bar drinking Firewhisky and talking smack to Hufflepuffs.
